Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026. Effective for getkeyproof.com.
What KeyProof is
KeyProof is a website and browser-based tool that helps you prove ownership of a self-custody crypto wallet to an exchange. We never ask for, receive or store seed phrases, recovery words or private keys, and we never hold funds.
What stays in your browser
The signature verifier and the proof-record generator (PDF / JSON) run entirely on your device. The address, message, signature and verification result are not sent to our servers. The site's Content-Security-Policy restricts the page to same-origin network requests, so the verifier cannot call an external API.
What we collect today
Today KeyProof does not offer accounts, paid checkout or email signup. We do not ask you to create an account, enter a payment method or join a mailing list.
- Basic server logs from the host (for example IP address, user agent, path and time), kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
- Optional local storage on your device for preferences that never leave your browser (for example UI state). No advertising cookies.
We do not sell personal data. We do not run advertising trackers. We do not use third-party analytics by default.
If accounts or email launch later
If we add accounts, paid plans or email alerts, we will update this policy before those features go live and explain what is collected then.
Your rights
Where applicable law gives you rights of access, correction or deletion, contact privacy@getkeyproof.com.
Children
KeyProof is not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
We will update this page when the policy changes and bump the "Last updated" date.
